bad idle?

Ok, I havent own a 4 cylinder since 5 years ago which was an 01 prelude and that baby idles super smooth. On the other hand, my new TSX idles rough where my steering wheels vibrates too. This is an 06' with 450 miles on the clock. Is this part of the 4 cylinder break-in process?

I was thinking of installing some grounding wires for this. It works flawlessly on my G35(even though it was smooth from factory, got it smoothER w/ wires ).

BTW, this car MOVES for a 4 banger

Rough idle

My 2006 TSX just reached 1000 miles, but from 3 miles onwards, had a very smooth idle, sometimes couldn't tell if the engine was running. You should have the TSX evaluated at an appropriate shop, good luck.

When my TSX was new, its idle was perhaps one the smoothest I've experienced from a 4 cylinder engine. In fact, I swear it seemed smoother than a lot of V6 engines.

Lately the engine does have a tiny bit more vibration at idle, but it is still incredibly benign.

If your steering wheel shakes at idle, it sounds like something might be wrong. If it doesn't get better over time, mention it when you take it in for its first service.

Uhm! NO! it shouldn't be like that. The only time I can feel a slight shake is on cold mornings where a lot of cars have trouble starting to begin with.

Take it to the stealership and tell them.

Sounds like its worse than it ought to be for a new car. Time to introduce yourself to the service dept.

I knew how to adjust the idle in my old accord. you just adjust the screw to let air/gas (i dont know which) in or the tension of the throttle wire. how do you do it for DBW?

Yes, this is on D Braking at a stop. Steering virbrate but not to an extent that is some sort of a problem. I just thought it might be the beginning since the parts ar not worn in yet or the computer hasnt adjust accordingly. Ill just wait till my 3k miles service and see what happen.

aaaha !
see when you're not being precise and everyone starts
making assumptions then things just go to shitty confusion.

Yes I also find the vibration in [D] at stop a bit too much, and sometimes, at long red-light wait I find too annoying I'd shift into [N]

Did you ever get this problem solved? I have a rough/vibrating/erratic idle when stopped. Taken it in 3 times but can't figure it out, so I'm looking to find someone who's found the problem & fixed it.
