Annoying .. is there a fix?

I know many of us have the infamous steering wheel slightly turned to the left syndrome. At first, I thought a wheel alignment would fix it but it's always still slightly to the left when going straight. It's so annoying and yes I'm aware of the crowning of some roads but it's definitely to the left on flats. Is there a permanent fix for this?

I'm having an awful time with this, have rotated the tires and there is a definite offset. Driving me nuts.

If the wife's Corolla can go straight, my TSX sure can. And I don't buy that it is just "sensitive".

Apparently there is a TSB 06-039 that applies to many Acuras which deals with the steering alignment and making sure the steering wheel is aligned properly. It is about 7 pages long.

I don't have a copy of it, but it has been mentioned here a number of times when members have complained about steering being offset and pulling problems.

It seems that the inability of the technicians to properly align the steering wheel occurs frequently enough that Acura has felt the need to issue a general TSB to tell them how to do it right.

You might want to call up your service manager and tell them about this TSB and tell them you want to make an appointment to have them apply this TSB to your car at their expense. Also, that you do not want the same technician that previously worked on your car to work on it.

If you have directional tires you might want to also check that they put them on right. You will get bad pull if they a backwards.

I went to Acura to get my radio toggle fixed on the steering wheel and they had to pull the whole steering wheel off to fix it, once they put it back on they put it on a 1/4 turn to the left, man I was all thrown off going down the freeway with a sideways wheel. Idiots took a whole other day to take it back and have them fix it

Just about every TSX owner has experienced the problem. I corrected it by replacing the tires and adjusting the toes slightly positive instead of zero.

the slightly positive toe applies to the front or rear or both? cause i'm about to bring my car in for an alignment soon and what's a good alignment spec for the tsx?

I have the toes set to 0.3mm F and 0.8mm R. The car tracks the road much better with the current setting especially running wider wheels/tires. There isn't any other adjustable settings on the stock suspension. If your car has the right rear camber being out of spec issue, I would take care of that first.
