Alternative paint for respray?
Alternative paint for respray?
Someday in the future I'm going to need to repaint my front bumper and lip because of rock chips. I drive on the freeway a lot and I have a feeling that within a year or so its going to look like I drove through a sandblaster
(its got more then I'd like already). Luckily they're all isolated to those areas and not the hood. If I'm going to spend the money for a good repaint I would want better paint, not the water based crap that it's sprayed with stock. Is there any other harder paint that would match Milano red? (I know its a tricoat).
edit: I would get the 3M clearbra as well

try getting some paint from there and practice on a blank first.
Its not bad just have to hold the can even and don't let it run.
I fixed up some major scratches and then clear coated it, this is only a fix but I do intend to repaint the whole bumper as well later on.
