Alignment
Hi,
I just got my new TSX and I find it pulls to the left when I'm driving at highway speeds. The dealer has told me nothing's wrong with it but I still feel the car pulling left.
Does anyone else have a similar problem?

Re: Alignment
I have the same problem. Just had the tires rotated at 10,000 miles. Still the same. It's almost 10 degrees off at 80mph, going straight down the highway.
I think the alignment is off. I'll have it checked at the 15K oil change.

i had a alignment problem when i picked up my TSX as well...basically they said the hooks to hold the TSX down during transport prolly screwed up the alignment. therefore, it was covered under warranty and they realigned it for free

I hope you mean that you have to turn the wheel an extra 10 degrees because if your track was out of alignment by 10 degrees it would be practically undrivable.

Of course, when there's wind, it looks even worst.

Check the tire pressure and use a couple of different guages. Our TSX from the dealer had 50psi in one rear tire, 48.5psi in the other rear tire, and over 45psi on both front tires. The Michelin tires have a max inflation pressure of 41psi and the door label states the front tires should have 32psi and the rear tires 30psi. I was truly amazed when I checked the pressure and found it that far out of spec.
Just to further describe my problem.
When I drive on a very straight portion of the highway, I cannot drive hands-free or the car will take off to the left. Are you able to drive hands-free and still go straight?

But once the steering is fixed, it will be okay. I used to do that a lot on my Jetta. Drove my passengers crazy...
Since the 17" rims and tires on the TSX make it more sensitive to bumps, it's best to keep your hands on the steering wheel at all times. Especially when backing up!!!
I purchased a TSX on March 12th and told the salesperson it seemed to pull to the left. I drove the car two weeks and took it in to have the alignment checked. One of the service people drove the car with me along and told me it was normal. Today, after 7500 miles I dropped it off to have them put it on the alignment machine. We'll see if they fix it. The dealer gave me a TSX demo to drive and it is straight as an arrow down the road confirming mine is out of alignment.
I believe the TSX is the best buy for the money and love the car.
My two last were a A4 1.8T & a TT Audi's.

Alignment
Well I had my TSX in for alignment today after a service person had driven it (a few weeks ago) and said it was fine. They aligned it and guess what it was off, and guess what else it drives the same, pulls to the left. I have an appointment to have them do it again tomorrow and we'll see. I'm getting sick of farting around with this and it better get done right this time. I've never had this problem with any car I've ever owned.
I've had an issue with the alignment/suspension on my TSX that has been going on now since I picked it up on March 26th. Yesterday I brought the car in to a different dealer to have the alignment checked. This dealer was able to adjust the front camber and caster on my TSX. I had been told by the dealer I bought the car from (as well as independent alignment shops in the region) that caster and camber could not be adjusted on the TSX, only the toe could be adjusted. The dealer I brought it to yesterday said they could also adjust front caster and camber but not rear camber. I don't know how the second dealer was able to adjust camber and caster on the front (the fact that you can adjust them and how to adjust them is not described in the Acura Service Manual). Bottom line is that my TSX no longer drifts to the left and the steering wheel no longer feels skittish. You may want to try bringing your car in to a different dealer if your dealer is unable to correct the problem.
I have always used an independant alignment shop for all my vehichles. The dealers have a factory spec with a wide variance. For some reason I believe if shimming is required the dealers don't or won't go this far to fine tune every car. My TL and TSX have both gone for and required alignment since new.and both are still straight and true at 6000 - 20000 km ,. The 60 or 80 $ is worth spending.
