is there such thing? my OEM is pretty scratched up and looking to purchase another one but repurchasing a OEM one seems like a waste of money, I got quoted around 1100 for a OEM Rear bumper cover, painted and installation which seems pretty steep to me....

the bumper cover isn't the problem, it's the shop you asked for it from.

OEM is $266.86, plenty cheap enough.

and no, there is no aftermarket bumpercover.
generic oem replacement, yes, but don't bother.

all aftermarket stuff for kits are all lips on the back.
even the ones where they replace the front bumper are only lips on the back.

the 09 has a full bumper replacement kit, but that's another story.

just buy the oem bumper cover yourself, have it shipped to you.
and then try again with body shops.

 

When I had my bumper cover replaced my repar shop stated the OEM was only $60 more than the aftermarket one. Better fit/finish too.
