I got mine "fixed" a couple of weeks ago. They managed to not fix the rattle at all, but they did manage to break my passenger window switch, disabling that for a couple of weeks. It's back in the shop now...hopefully I'll be able to listen to music without a buzzing noise from my doors soon. I didn't expect this for nearly thirty grand.

I took my car to the dealer to have this TSB performed, but they say they can't duplicate the rattle! Are they required to perform the service if my VIN is in the range listed in the Honda TSB, or do they have to duplicate the rattle first? I was under the impression that if my VIN is in the range, and I ask them to do the TSB service, they have to do it whether they can duplicate the problem or not.
I heard the rattle/buzz from the passenger door on the road not 100 yards from the dealership. This is the 3rd time I have taken my TSX in for rattles/creaks/whistles and they have said 'can't duplicate'. They must go out of their way to hire deaf technicians.

I'm going to Arbatration today. Acura Rep told me they cannot fix my 2004 TSX. It has been fixed 5 times. Last attempt they installed Dynamat. However it's still very bad

I have this same problem in my new '06. However, there are no TSB forthe '06 yet. Any idea if they fixed this?
Or should I bring the '04 TSB to the dealer?

Good morning! I had my lemon law arbitration on Thursday, July 14th. I made some good points. So I should know the outcome this coming week.
Ferman Acura in Tampa attempted to fix my 2004 TSX 5 times. The last time they installed dynamat in the front doors. One of Acura's arguments on Thursday was that the door buzz is a behavior of the TSX. Claiming they all do it, which is not true. I was told by the Acura Rep Cory Romanosky that the 04-024 TSB fix was put into the manufacturing process in the 2006 model. My car was out of use for 16 days. Acura argued that I could fade the speakers to the rear, so the rear speakers can take the load. If I do not win, I have a law firm Krohn & Moss that has accepted my case. I do not have to pay fees. Krohn & Moss will sue Acura/Honda under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Another fix was to install a sub woofer to reduce the load on my door speakers. However I was told could void portions of the warranty. The arbitrator did Sting the Acura rep for that. I will fight to the end. I bought one of the first 2000 Toyota Celica GTS's and won a lemon law on a faulting AC. Toyota paid me $8000, and paid off my loan. They shipped the car to Texas and sold it at auction. Will keep you posted.

Here's how I fixed my buzzing door problem. On July 22nd I went and purchased 2006 VW Passat 3.6 4Motion with Dynaudio. No more buzzing problem.

Also, good luck with the VW. I hope you don't have trouble like I did with my 06 GTI which was bought back under the Lemon law a little over a month ago.
Good Luck

Thanks. The Passat is great. the only problem I ever had with my 04 TSX was the buzzing doors. It got so bad at 45k, I could no longer stand dealing with it. The stereo could be off, and the road would make the doors buzz. The local Tampa, Florida area Acura Rep Cory Romanoski was a jerk. At least Ferman Acura was good to me. Eddie Gomez the dealership manager was nice and the Warren Brookes the Service Manager tried everything to fix my car. Cory Romanoski was the deal breaker for me. I have a love affair with the TL still. My Passat is my first VW. My wife loves her Jetta.
What was wrong with your 06 GTi. I bought my wife a 06 Jetta GLI. We are happy so far.

Im glad to hear your happy with your VW. I loved everything about the GTI exept for the fact that it was in the shop for most of the four months I owned it. I had the 2.0T with DSG trans. and the car would downshift every once and a while which was dangerous because it happened once when I was going 50 mph and the car downshifted and it went down to about 20 mph and I almost got rear ended. The last week I had it the car would not go above third gear. It was just stuck there. Like with your TSX, no one was helpful from VW customer service down to the dealerships. The only nice and helpful person was the guy who gave me my $24,000 check at the end.

My wife's DSG is ok. You would think they would just replace the DSG Trans. I'm not sure if any car company that will really stand by behind. I do know that VW is losing money on every Rabbit/GTi they sell. Wish I could be more helpful with your TSX. They are a great car for the money, with exception to the buzzing. A friend of mine ordered his TL S-Type. However I have heard some TL's have buzzing. Dynamat did not even help my car. Take, good luck!

Thanks, I love my TSx, it is my second one. The buzzing in mine isn't bad but I do notice it. I hope your VW's stay problem free. I love VW's, just not the one I had.
GOOD LUCK

I have this also. Mine is not dependent on the speakers but rather the speed of the car and the road surface. It happens infreqently, but it still happens. Its annoying.

Naturually, you know that everything that I said is dependant on you having the skirt or any other aero kit on the car.
Good luck

i get that bluetooth problem sometimes as well.. but im now starting to get some rattling from the drivers side door. My bass is always high (2006 by the way) and from what I hear, it appears that the window switches.. the whole plastic pod their situated in, is buzzing. Any thoughts?

I really hope I dont get this buzzing that you guys are talking about...I have an 06 as well, and have only had it for about a week and a half. I had an annoying buzzing in my tC at highway speeds after I installed my supercharger. That drove me nuts cause it came on at about 3000 rpms and resonated through the driverside air vent.

no no.. i dont think your gonna find buzzing due to engine performance. The buzzing I'm experience is pretty subtle but noticeable and is due to high volume/high bass.

no, I know what your talking about...after I put the supercharger on my car the noise wasnt performance related either, it was just a dash rattle that turned up after the install. That was a 17K car so it was expected, this is a 28k car and rattles shouldnt even be an issue

I took my car to Sound Advice to get some Sound Advice. Of course, while I was there, the system performed perfectly ... no distortion, no rattling. The dude was like "u have too much $$$ to waste if u want to upgrade this system". As soon as I pulled out of there, the buzzzing started again. It's a conspiracy!
