Has anyone been able to get their service dept to fix the infamous AC burping/farting? All I can get from mine is 'not able to duplicate problem'. It happens so sporadically - mostly when car is coming to a stop or idling.

 

Do you mean the whoop sound, or something else? If it's the whoop sound, yes, someone did get it fixed. It's described in the whoop thread somewhere, but I can't remember the specifics.

i have the same issue. even on my civic. it is like an air noise once in awhile while car is stopped or in motion. if you want to get it fix, just suck out all old freon and get all new freon into the system and that will fix it. for me.. my a/c compressor exploded so i replaced compressor, ac clutch, coil, condensor and now no more air whop sound. but my civic still comes on once in awhile.
