6 speed owners, 'clunking' when shifting to 3rd?

Do you guys get a "clink clunk" noise when shifting 2 > 3, right upon entering the gate and finishing the shift to 3rd?
I mean, I know it's mechanical and not a defect (at least I think), but it's only happening in 3rd, or it's most pronounced in 3rd.
The other gates are pretty silent.
Not asking for a solution, but just checking if it's happening to others.

It's a simple slide forward from 2 -> 3.
What I'm describing, it's in the shifter motion, not during clutch release.
When I shift from 2nd to 3rd, the shifter feels smooth, and I don't think I've ever heard any noises... On my car, the shifter feels notchy when I go from 4th to 5th, but even then it is benign.
As far as sound effects go, if I'm in a parking deck with the windows down, I can hear the linkage make a "clink" sound going from 1st to 2nd. The feeling in the shifter is smooth though.

I just slowed down my shifts and I haven't had any problems.
