Hi-I just picked up an 08 TSX last week. I filled the gas tank this mornign and when i started the car, it was reading full. I drove 20 miles to work and it read 3/4full. Anyone else expereinced this?

thats weird, my 06 never did that and im sure nothing is changed from 06 to 08. on my 06 at 3/4 im usually around 120 miles, 1/2 im at ~200 and when the light goes on im at around ~345

 

Could just be you were parked on an incline. If you stay on level ground for long enough or restart the car on level ground it would go back up if that is the problem.

One time I was parked face down on an extremely steep incline when helping my friend move. When I got back and restarted my car, I thought someone had siphoned gas while I was gone because the gauge read E. Turns out there was nothing wrong.

 

hey, I also have a 2008 TSX as well with the same issue. I drove about 60km after a full tank of gas, and now its down to 3/4 tank, which is absurd and doesn't make any sense. Is there any reasoning as to why this is happening?

 

did anyone figure this out? my fuel range on my odometer isn’t working either. like it keeps saying 0 miles and I’m on a full tank. anyone know how to reset it?
