2008 TSX check engine light//vsa light

2008 TSX check engine light//vsa light
2008 TSX with 146k miles
check engine light on, VSA light on, cruise control not working
At recent oil change, changed one sensor but lights didnt clear.
Occasionally the RPM will go up and down while holding acceleration steady - feels like it's not running smoothly. For the first time yesterday it wouldn't accelerate past 20 mph for a few minutes. then picked back up.
Had codes run today and this is what they told me:
P2138 APP Sensor A/B or 1/2 incorrect voltage correlation
P2647 rocker arm oil pressure switch (vtec oil pressure switch) circuit high voltage
I don't have a mechanic I trust, but my brother in law may help me if it's something he can do.
Any advice?

What sensor did they replace?
Your symptoms fall in line with the first code (accelerator pedal position sensor).
The second code is pretty common for Honda's. Normally it just means the vtec solenoid needs to be cleaned or replaced. There's a little mesh screen that gets gunked up (especially if you fall behind on regular oil changes).
Neither of those sensors or codes are unique to the TSX. Any info you find on your issues for any Honda model should apply (helpful since there isn't much TSX specific info floating around)
