2006 TSX - 92,000 miles. service i should do?
My TSX is now a tad over 6 years old and approaching 92,000 miles. At around the 60,000 mark, I had my mechanic do all the "inspect" checks and he told me it was in great shape, and not to bother with changing the fluids as recommended. I forget when the service schedule recommends replacing the timing belt though, but I think I'm past that, so was considering doing that.
my question is - is there any other service I should take care of around now?
I know it's come up in other threads, but i did a few searches and have not found anything useful yet.
thanks!

Well, if you wanted to jump the gun a little on the spark plug replacement (I think it's 110K miles) I don't think it would hurt.
Hopefully you've done a brake fluid change at least once (hopefully twice) during that 6 year interval. I think you should generally replace that every 2-3 years.
There's no timing belt to replace on a TSX, just a chain. In theory, it should never need to be replaced.
I'd recommend getting the transmission fluid flushed as well if you haven't already done so. Probably would to the same with the coolant as well.
I'm probably overcautious on fluid replacement. If you're running originals on everything, I would do them all (except power steering)
**Edit - You should probably consider replacing both air filters (engine and cabin) as well, if they haven't been done in a while.

i've done the air filters as part of routine maintainance myselve (since it's so easy). i understand the idea behind replacing the fluids, but my mechanic doesn't think it's really necessary to worry about it other than topping them off if they are ever low. but i'll consider it.

For your TSX, the MM system will come up with a 3 code when you need to replace the transmission. It typically comes on around 60k miles so you may have missed that if you don't read the codes.
The transmission is usually a drain and fill, run a little and repeat for a total of 3 times. I just change it every 30k miles to avoid having to do it all at once and even with our 95 Accord after 130k miles the fluid is red.
Coolant I also do every 30k and I believe on the jug it states 3 years 36k miles. I don't know if I would trust what your mechanic says about that. You generally want to do this like you do the brake fluid every 3 years.
Check the balljoints and CV boots because if you haven't replaced them yet they will probably need replacing if not now very soon.

it's a car-drive it
at 110,000 miles I had the spark plugs change, coolant changed, Manual transmission fluid changed. At 131,000 miles I was told the control arm bushings were beginning to tear and will probably need to be replaced in the future. In the not to distance future I will have to replace the original brakes and tires-still ok for now.

My transmission went out at 67k miles in my '06 5at. No idea why. They said my fluid smelled burnt. Replaced under warranty. A trans. flush is not that expensive. I'd suggest you do it anyway. Beats 3000 or so to replace it.

Still on you original brakes and tires? Wow you must baby that car. I just bought mine with 90,000 miles and came with new tires and the brake squeak sensors are now sounding. There is a little lip on my rotors too, so they might have already been turned. Do you or anyone know the minimum width specifications for the rotor? Hoping to get one more turn out of mine.
