2005 TSX rear left brake light not working

2005 TSX rear left brake light not working

Hey guys, I was looking to see if I can get some help/opinions. My 2005 tsx's rear right brake light will not illuminate when the brake pedal is pressed. The light functions normally under every other circumstance. At first, I thought it might be the actual bulb so I switched it with the left light bulb and it still will not illuminate specifically on the right side. My rationale is it cannot be the bulb otherwise it would have worked when I switched them. It cannot be the fuse because the bulb is lit when lights are on.It cannot be the switch because the left side works Any ideas?

Light functions normally except when braking
Right does not illuminate when brake is pressed with left bulb

Check for 12v at the bulb connector w/ test light or VOM. It could be wiring fault, connector fault, or lack of ground.
