1G TSX PSA: Adjust eBrake without removing center console
1G TSX PSA: Adjust eBrake without removing center console
Hi AcuraZine,
This is my first post, but not new to car forums by any stretch of the imagination. I didn't have a chance to search to see if this was already common knowledge (so I might be 10 years too late), but if you have an 10" extension socket and a cell phone it's possible to adjust the ebrake tension by removing the back panel of the console via 2 screws on both sides of the seat.
I've done it both ways and if prying out the cubby, uprooting the cupholder and breaking a buncha clips doesn't sound like your cup of tea, try going from under the rear entrance of the center console. They said it couldn't be done over at TSXCLUB so I just wanted to prove 'em wrong. lol
