10K Oil Change vs. The OEM Oil Filter
The guy from this site cut out a bunch of oil filters to see what were inside:

The Honda OEM filter looked awful after 1000 miles... like the paper inside was falling apart...
So, how can the owner manual suggests to change oil every 10K?

Oh... the guy from the TL forum said that still better to use the OEM even it was not as good as some of the aftermarket one. He said that the by-pass valve in the OEM filter was set to different pressure than the aftermarket one.
