Hey guys, I have an issue with my '06 TSX where it would turn off and on while I'm driving. By off and on, I can see all the lights flicker and all electronics turn off an on in a matter of a split second. When I am driving at high speeds, on the highway, they simply turn on and off. However, when I am driving at lower speeds, or coming to a stop, the car would turn off and turn on in "ON" mode, where I would have to reignite the engine.

Also, this could be related, but I notice when I'm listening to music, the audio cuts out for a split second and cuts back in, as if there was no power going to the speakers for a split second.

I also have noticed that sometimes when I turn on my highbeams, it does this.

I have taken it to Acura, and they have been able to find nothing. I'm not sure if they looked hard enough or if they're just dicking me around, but I don't know what it could be. Apparently the ECU didn't show any codes either.


If anyone has had this issue or know what it possible could be, I'd appreciate something to tell the mechanic to look at.

 

Battery terminals are corroded. Likely the positive one.
