06 TSX 6MT - Smelling something "sweet"

When I push the car hard (2nd gear to 6k rpm) I briefly smell what should be coolant. I checked the floor mats, the coolant level, and around the engine bay, no signs of a leak.

The car runs perfect. No power issues, no cooling issues, coolant level has not changed. I replaced the pressure cap mid-last year, but no signs of spilled coolant.

I replaced the lower coolant sensor last year, but again no sign of a leak.

Ideas?

Could it be a micro-tear in one of the hoses? Anyone else experience this?

Still there, not sure where it is coming from.
However I smell engine/exhaust...*hot engine smelling air* ... at certain points of engagement and RPM's.

Hoses look all ok. I am wondering if it is a Valve Cover issue, a gasket or something.
I don't remember seeing a leak but at one point there was some extra dirt/grime around one of the washer gaskets (center front) to the VC.

VC gasket replacement is not a normal maintenance item but should be easy to replace in an afternoon. Will need VC gasket, Washer gaskets, and I should probably change the spark plug gaskets too while I'm in there.

Any other locations I should be checking?
