04 TSX Brake Light Issue

So first and foremost I just want to put out that:

-Brake switch tests good (Cruise control shuts off)
-The light Failure was Simultaneous
-The upper light (above the trunk) is still operable

So looking at the wiring diagram, the two rear lights meet up with the Upper light at some point, I just can't find a schematic of it anywhere. I'm an electrician and common sense of troubleshooting would be the problem has to be before these two wires link up. Has anyone traced these wires before? Just trying to avoid taking crazy amounts of things apart.

I didn't ohm the run yet. Wanted to isolate it from the connection point where it links up with the Upper rear lights

Have you checked for 12V at the bulb sockets? If nothing you'll need to trace the wires back to the 3rd brake light splice point (open the harness or get a circuit trace tool).

I attached wiring diagram.

good luck
