So the CD player in my 04 quit working. It is the one with nav. I've seen a bunch of CD units on eBay for sale, but none mention having the faceplate number mine has (7GB0). Does anyone know if all the units with nav are compatible, or do I really need to find my exact faceplate number match. I can't imagine Acura (Alpine) re-engineering the unit each year.
The lights for the air don't work, so I was hoping to replace the CD unit and get them working again too.

 

If you mean the navigation DVD player in the trunk, then it's best to return to Alpine for repair ($358). New is ridiculous price of $3500+ so used units are expensive and you might have same problem.

Many threads here w/ contacts, but google "alpine dvd repair" will find the info.

No, the CD changer in the dash. Looking at units that come out of salvaged cars. Want to know how many variants of CD changers there are coming out of other tsx's.

 

Check car-part.com. It shows radio/CD from several years is compatible.

I'm narrowing it down... anyone know what (if any) difference there is between part number 39175-sec-A820 and the part that ends in L820?
