02 sensor cel on t1r test pipe

Hello, I just bought a T1R test pipe on my car and installed it at shop then I noticed that engine light was on and called "maintenance required". I wonder if it caused from test pipe with sensor cel? I know that I have read the comment but can't remember. Can you help me out with this info?

Thanks,
George

You need an anti defouler. Weatleast for highflow cats, not sure if test pipes have that opening.

The maintenance reminder is not the result of an engine problem. It's telling you that service is required (oil change or more) based on the miles and your driving habits. It is unrelated to the test pipe though it is likely you will need to install an anti-fouler to trick the ECU into believing the non-existent cat is working as well as the OEM cat, which obviously it's not going to do.

the t1r test pipe does have a bung for o2 sensor. anti-fouler should do the trick if you're getting a CEL

The maintenance reminder light is separate from Check Engine Light. That light can be easily reset.

How can I reset the light? I know that my car's low beam headlight had trouble after Hondata Reflash installation. After Reflash, Both side of low beam headlight was not working then I decided to disconnect the battery and connect the battery again then finally right low beam was working and left was still not working. When I drove on street and low beam headlight was a like flash and turned it off. I dont know if engine light caused by headlight trouble or not. I am not happy with it and need to figure it out to fix it. Thanks for all info and help me out.

FYI, the T1R test pipe comes with an anti-defouler/cel fix. Don't see why your CEL is on. Did you buy it new??
