‘05 TSX - Navigation completely black screen - Is it navigation system or DVD player?
SubscribeI just purchased a 2005 TSX and the navigation screen is completely blacked out. Now the seller said it worked fine until they got into a fender bender causing the screen to go black from the impact.
My question is, is there way to find out if it’s the actual navigation system that’s faulty or if it’s the DVD player in the trunk? I tried ejecting the DVD disk but nothing happened so I don’t even know if there’s a disk in there. It didn’t make a noise either like I thought it would...(is it even supposed to make a noise when pressing the eject button?) I don’t want to end up buying the navigation system and having it be the DVD player.
The radio works fine and I can see the display that’s on above the dash.
I wouldn’t care much for navigation since I have my phone but it controls the AC and I can’t live without AC where I live.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you.
