Winnings

SF-Winnings that is, just got them put in last night so my car is looking a little dirty cause of the work done on it. These are just a little teaser of the pics to come. Right now I really don't like the drop on the car and I want to go way lower so I'm just waiting on the coilovers to settle and then i'll drop it a bit more.

I have always been curious as to how those would look on a TSX. Really nice.

Those are one of the rims I am considering for my ride...very nice!

If you don't mind me asking, where an how much did you get them for?
What are the rim and tire specs? What suspension set-up are you currently running? Sorry for all the questions...just curious!

Thank you all for the compliments, I plan on doing more pics when I find a nice place to take them at and when my friends have time to do it with me also. I'll post up all the pics then. Here's to answering some questions...

matelot: Her name is Iya Vilania, she's a filipino VJ/actress/model/singer and yes she is hot.

caz1604: The rims are 19 x 8 with a +42 offset, the tires are 235/35/19 on Tien basic coilovers. I feel that I really should've went with the Tein SS coilovers because of the dampening adjustment.

mg7726: I totally agree with you, I'm just going to wait maybe a month before I do order it. For awhile I was looking at the OEM kit or the Kenstyle kit but I think I want to save a bit of money and go for the OEM one.

JTso: Yes those are the stock lugnuts and lock, I'm not sure if I was supposed to get different ones or not.

CarbonGray Earl: Yes exactly what Caz 1604 said, I want to even everything out once the coilovers settle. Oh and took the pic in DB also

You might wanna check into those lugs nuts. Most aftermarket wheels don't match up with rounded lugs (like OEM) and you might be setting yourself up for an accident. Not too sure, but unproperly seated wheels could eventually fall off. It won't happen overnight, but the possibility is always there, especially if you travel at high rates of speed.

Again, not too sure, but it doesn't seem right. You should be using a tapered lug nut.

With all that said above, did you put the wheels on yourself, or did a tire shop? They should know and I hope they didn't set you up, providing that is the case. Additionally, you need to check that they are torqued on correct (80ft lbs), as to prevent any other damage that could occur over a period of time.

Just want to add a few more pics we took at a bbq recently. Its my TSX and my friend's BMW.

I still have to find time to detail my car and find somewhere to take some pics. Oh with the lugnut thing, those are not my stocks after all. I found my stocks in the trunk and I called to verify that they weren't.

Also, nice drop! What suspension do you have? If I were you I would keep it at that perfect height.

Got it at vision motorsports in Hacienda Heights, if your looking to get some Volks, they can hook you up pretty good, ask for Nat. I have Tein basics for my suspension. If i could do it again I would go for the SS or the Flex, the basics are too bouncy in my opinion.

Who said mesh wheels look bad on a TSX? After seeing some of those blokes on the board with the BBS wheels, I'm convinced! And after seeing Werd's ride, I'm doubly convinced!! There was another ABP TSX in the car gallery with 19" Ace Klassiks, and that looked great too IMO. I think mesh wheels look so classy and sporty at the same time... especially when they have a nice lip. They remind me of the older Bimmer 5 series. Ultimately, though, who cares what other people think? If you like them, that's all that matters --- you'll have at least one other board member (i.e., me ) that'll be lovin' 'em!

I hear ya... I love the Maya STMs, but I'm not really looking to go any bigger than 18". With the pock-mark roads all over NJ and NYC, I'd just be asking for trouble!
