Those "headers" that you see in the pic is the intake manifold. The headers are located behind the motor.

Is that the stock intake manifold chromed out or is it an aftermarket one?

oh man! any respect i had is now gone....I totally knew that too....but really...what is that shiny thingy inside the front of the car with the four tube things?

its the stock intake manifold i bought from acura then had it dipped in chrome along with the radiator brackets ac brackets and battery bar and some lil bolts and nuts here and there , david

I am curious on how much it cost to do the headers and the radiator mounts and the battery tie down cause I am thinking of doing it now

I'd assume quite a bit...not really worth it unless you get to open your hood up to people on a regular basis. Also, idk about you, but I couldn't get the parts out and back in by myself, thats gonna cost you also

the manifold was 300 to dip and the radiator brackets were 50 each then the battery was like 45 all the lil bolts and but are 5-8 each to dip and i waited 4 months for it to get back to me from the chrome shop . ccolt there is a shop in north carolina that does chrome dipping that maybe cheaper its called g N s customs if u need the number pm me .The place i sent mine to is over priced from what ive been told but they do damn good work . david

could be a stupid question, but does plating your intake manifold make it disperse less heat? (manifold gets hotter, less efficient)
