TSX Drawing

My future brother in-law just finished a sketch of my beautiful TSX and I think it turned out great. I sent him a picture of my TSX and he included all the details and shadows that were in the original pic and sent me back this sketch. I wanted to show you guys and also figured someone else might want a custom sketch. I just wanted to show you guys and without sounding to much like an advertisement, he charges about $150 for this drawing and extra for the writing. Smaller size is less $ and larger size is more $. You can email him at SketchesByChris@aol.com if you want more info.

You can see the details better in person.

I think that's great. I hope it doesn't violate anything.
(How would we know, they refuse to tell us.)

I'd buy one myself, except any time I want to see a TSX all I have to do is look out the window.

Actually we're kinda out of wall space! But this looks great. Cool job!

Thanks. I can also just look out the window. But I like the drawing because it shows how my car looked in the summer not how it looks now overed in salt and ice.

Looks very nice

Might be more appropriate in the gallery and/or black market section.

rzee - he got very detailed.

fdl - I didn't think it belonged in black market but I guess gallery is a better place for the thread.

Not to quibble with "art," but....

Just in case anybody else is thinking of taking a crack at it, IMO although this is a terrific drawing, it doesn't show the TSX from a very distinctive angle. To whatever extent the TSX has a recognizable look, I don't think it shows at this angle. In order for the TSX to really LOOK LIKE one, I think we'd need to see the rear end more -- I don't mean seeing the butt per se, but just having more of an impression of how the rear end goes.

Y'all know what I mean?

I wonder why he chose to draw it from this angle. I guess maybe because it's a more common angle for showing a car. And of course this way the car is kind of coming at you, which is good; the more you did it my way, the less this would be the case.

Larch - Like rzee said I sent him a picture. The front happens to be my favorite part of the car and the rear is my least favorite so I decided to exclude the rear when I was taking the picture.

I knew there were schools for car designers but never knew where or what you called the major. Thanks.

The front looks more like the 2nd generation TL's.

But regardless, what a nice sketch. *drool*

Anyone can do it in photoshop (doesn't work well though) But this wasn't done with photoshop, it was done by hand. Can you do that?
