yea... come on!

Well... one way to make a nice soundclip would to have someone stand outside the car with a video camera and an external mic attached to it (a good quality one), while you're in the drivers seat revving it. Then you can have an angle from where you have the tachometer showing and you have the door open to let the sound in while you're sitting there revving it. Or... you can actually drive by while there's someone standing outside filming with a nice mic attached.

Get an RCA-to-stereo adapter and plug in the audio cables of your camcorder to the adapter. Plug that all into the input on your soundcard (if you're on a PC) or through your input device (if you're on a Mac) and then run your sound recording program. (I personally use CoolEdit on my PC, but there's other ones out there.)

Ensure you have your line-in chosen as your source and start the recording. Once the program starts recording, play your tape and then stop it all when you're done. Save the file, edit it, save the edited version in a format that is small enough for you to host somewhere (eg. MP3, AAC).

Upload the file to your webspace and post the URL that links to it. Simple as that.

Here's one I did from some video footage I took when I was running in a Solo II event in my old 93 Civic Si coupe. http://home.cogeco.ca/~crhook/tcc/DC_Sports-1.mp3
Doesn't that DC Sports exhaust and AEM CAI make the stock SOHC D16Z6 engine sound bad ass??

Hope that helps.
