photo quality sucks (cameraphone), but you'll get the idea. for my 08/09 plans, i wanted to upgrade some stuff under the hood to give my 07AT a little more pep. a little unboxing to make sure everything was included from the manufacturer.
got these from josh/excelerate performance, the latter being part of the very cool excelerate winter sale!
aaannnnnnnddd...got this from heeltoe. i originally had the cusco bar lying around and never installed it. after seeing the alutec, i decided to sell my cusco.
driving up to CT get the header, hi-flow cat, and my hondata and p2r gaskets installed next week at excelerate. hopefully i'll have some spare time to get the strut bar in on my own one of these weekends.

Also, I want to check out that Alutec bar. I'm thinking about ordering one. I painted my Cusco brackets and it looks like shit, plus the Cusco brackets interfere with the Ingalls ETD and it annoys me.

Damn, no go. Being employed precludes my presence. Enjoy the mods! You'll probably get hungry, I recommend eating at the SBC Brewery next to the shop (it's also one of your only options on foot, lol)

There's a Wal Mart within walking distance if you want to wander around and possibly make impulse purchases of video games. There's also a pool hall somewhere around there. Also a Starbucks up the street. As you can tell I've spent my share of time hoofing it around central Branford, lol.

it was awesome. thanks to josh @ excelerate performance for the parts (great prices) and the excellent install! he's very professional and thorough. he even scrapped off whatever OEM gasket material from my TB when i installed the p2r myself and couldn't get the remaining paper off!
it was pretty much an all-day job from 10 to 6 since bleeding the coolant takes forever and he has to take care of calls/customers at the same time.
no pics, but i had the following parts installed:
-alutec strut bar (from marcus/heeltoe)
-RT high flow cat/o2 defouler
-CT-Engineering header
-P2R IMG (injector base one)
-Hondata IMG
the sound of the car definitely changed afterward. sounds a little more aggressive when you rev it. you hear and feel the car rev harder, and the RPMs seem to move higher faster. it was pretty fun driving home and the butt dyno was pleased. i can only imagine how you supercharged guys feel. haha.
regarding the AT rattle with the CT-E header, i did feel some of at idle at lights or slow traffic. at full stops, it wasn't as bad. it seems the worst when you're coasting and the RPMS are below 1K. i haven't tried it with the A/C on (which many have noted you can feel it). honestly, i'd compare the rattle to a cold start in the dead of winter with just a tad more shaking. there is a little noise, but it's not that bad. for now, i definitely can live with the trade off of more response/pep. if i get complaints from the wife, maybe i'll look into the diy from the 'other' site that helps to reduce it.
