i got a lil bored~and found some black tape...what do you guys think? should i have it actually painted black later?





yea its been close to a month since ive washed my car...shaddap~

yea i kno. its just temporary as i just put it on just to see how itll look like.

i REALLY thought about doing this to my 07 NBP but then I figured it'd look kinda weird with just that 1 chrome piece in the middle. it doesnt look as bad as thought it would but i think i'm still gonna hold off for now.

thanks for the inputs guys. i Do have an extra piece of grill that i can play with. so im kinda experimenting.

 

I like it . Most likely going to have to paint it in the long run.

Quick question though. Would that look good on a PWP?

 

pwp with black electrical tape? nope..haha. but a chrome delete? hmm. good question. my visual is leaning towards no unless its the jdm grill..but i can soooo be wrong as ive never actually seen one. maybe some one can photoshop it?

I think it looks very nice - good job! - but I agree with others that you should eventually accomplish it with paint. Also, the whole thing should also go black (i.e. the middle portion as well).

Good luck with the painting - if you do it - and please report back how it went. I'd love to black out my MR but would probably buy some of the JDM pieces rather than paint them (specifically the black window trim).
