Red calipers = +15 horsepower!!!

Props to Josh and Jamie at Excelerate in Branford, CT for a quick and professional installation job this afternoon.

Rotora 1pc BBK with drilled+slotted rotors, and Rotora drilled+slotted rears with Hawk HPS brake pads. Stopping power is awesome, pedal feel is great, and the calipers clear my wheels (18x8 +48) with almost an inch to spare. From what Josh tells me, my OEM wheel had maybe a millimeter's clearance when he test-fitted it, so I will be running a set of 5mm Ichiba spacers this winter.

Talk is cheap, on to the pics. Yes, my car's dirty. I'll be washing it tomorrow. PS holy brakedust Batman.

Nice calipers.

Did you scratch/scrub your rims already?

Those are Advan Kreuzer Xi's. I've had them since July of 2007 so yeah, unfortunately in that time I've accumulated a couple of curbages on them. It hurts SO MUCH when that happens. I try to be mega-careful but once in a while, things do go down. It's a shame, but I usually forget about it after a day or so because... what can I do, right?

Down the line, I'm thinking about having them re-finished and powdercoated bronze...

Brakes look great, man . I'm glad to hear they cleared the Kreutzers no problem (guess that extra 1/2" width pays off).

I think the red looks perfect...can't wait to see them up close. Now you need to paint the rears red to match .
