Pics of my polished/painted OEM wheels

Just detailed my car earlier today and I thought I'd post some pics of the wheels. They are hand polished with body matched paint in the pockets and inside the lug holes. The shop painted my factory center caps Carbon Grey also but they just don't look that good when installed. So I'm trying to figure out what to do for center caps. Let me know what you guys think of the wheels. Here's the link, then click on the TSX gallery. Click to view full image if the pic is not clear.

How much did it cost to do? Personally, I wouldn't bother wasting money to have a shop paint my stock wheels. I would of done it myself for much cheaper and then purchase some aftermarket rims. Just doesn't seem worth it and I'm not even sure I actually like the color. Unique though.

The shop normally charges $150 per wheel to do something like what I got because it's very labor intensive for the polishing process. The gave me a deal for $125 per wheel. But here's the kicker, the only reason I had my wheels redone again was because my local Firestone messed up my wheels again puting my new tires on. So they paid 400 bucks and I picked up the left over $100. If I would never pay $500-600 to have my wheels refinished when I can buy new ones for about the same price. It's kinda cool though have custom finished wheels. I know that no one in the entire country has the same finish on their wheels.

virtualbong: The wheels are polished and only painted in the pockets. If you can polish your wheels by hand with how they had to cut lines for the lip and to separate the paint then mad props

Didn't you paint your OEM rims gold?
I remember seeing pics of them on the car before your last quarter mile run.

I am a picky SOB and I think those look great!!! I wish there was a shop around here I had enough faith in to do that to my rims. I can appreciate your sitution and I would do the same for $100 (out of pocket) but $600 would go towards speed or handling.

Looks really good. Wish I could find a place around here to do that, but ya $500 is a tad expensive.

they were. now their black.

i let my friend borrow it.

she has a white rsx with cf hood and trunk, the gold wheels clashed too much with the cf, so we sprayed it black.

looks good.
