Pics of my new Volk GTS's

Finally... pics of my new wheels. Originally I had ordered silver RG2s but to make a long story short they ended up being GOLD.

So I got a set of 18" mercury silver Volk GTS as a replacement. I took some pics tonight after I got home from work but didnt have much daylight to work with. I may snap a few more tommorow morning.

I do plan on getting centercaps but they are on backorder from Mackin, I should have them in a couple weeks or so.

i dunno why but i think those mugen grilles look soooo bland. The acura grille is lame stock, but at least it has some character!

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Yeah, I love your bay man. I saw your shaved & painted intake manifold cover posted on H-T and decided to do the same to mine

but i think 19's would have looked better
Personally I only like 19s on TSX's with Mugen or Kenstyle kits, otherwise they look too big for my taste. I may even go with 17s for my next set of wheels

nice lookin rims....but is it me or does the tires look to big for the rims?
Well most people would of probably went with a 225 series tire on a 7.5" wide wheel. But I personally like meaty tires and it the ride is actually more comfortable now than with the OEM wheels & tires.

Although my next set of tires will be 225 because Im rubbing ever so slightly when I turn my wheels pulling up steep inclines.

Not on flat ground, but hard turns going up an incline I do occasionly. Im looking into tucking in the fender liner though, I remember reading something about that in this forum before. That should give me just enough clearance.

They will look complete once the center caps are in. The pictures dont do these wheels justice, I know they have a higher contrast between the spokes and dish in real life, but they just look the same in the photos.

true, the mercury silver looks great against the polished lip in person but it doesnt seem to show as well in my pics.

Wow, so I finally get to see pics of your wheels ehh ?

Nice job, bro - your car's looking real clean .

Interesting choice in engine bay colors. I'm guessing you sent in your Cusco bar to get powdercoated as well?
