Pics of JDM headlights, lighting upgrade,etc... getting ready to install

Just got my 06 JDM headlights, did the projector swap took about 10min., while I'm at it I slit the opening of the driver side intake duct using the showtime knife for the custom cold air remove the stock resonator and piping. Upgrade to the high beam H1 Polarg 5000k luxy white, H11 Polarg 5000K luxy white for the log lights, PIAA high intensity LED for the sidemarker and the new PIAA mirror orange beam for the front turn signal. The cool thing on the PIAA orange beam turn signal is it will not show that orange color when install on the housing but will only turn orange when light up. Also got the 3M fog/headlight protection kits and last but not least pic of the rear bumper plug for the single exhaust conversion. All done in one shot while the bumper is off the car.

It is so simple, after you have twisted the round cover for the projector housing you will see 3 phillip screws holding the bracket for the projector. After you have taken the 3 screws off here is where you have to pry it out of the headlights housing just use the flathead screwdriver and wrap it with some type of cloth and pry it out, then take off the projector do this with your stock headlights and just swap it over to the JDM headlight.

I was going to get the headlight sooner or later but I couldn't just wait it for it 8 weeks or so and couldn't resist since heeltoe have it in stock so I just took the bullet and get it while the bumper is off the car I just figure might as well upgrade the lighting and stuff and do the cold air induction setup. It is pricey but if you want to go for that clean and sutle look this headlight will do it.

Well damn you just posted some insight into what bulb i need for my turn signals. I didnt know PIAA made a 7440 bulb like that! thanks bro.

Also, those LEDs are really white, check to see if they can replace your license plate bulbs...might make it look like the new Lexus vehicles.

That bulb is a new item from PIAA I hate those orange turn signal/sidemarker on the stock that is why I got these JDM headlights one well the cool thing is that these bulbs will not show orange in the clear lens only when it is use.

That is the rear left side bumper plug for the opening of the exhuast. It plug the opening if you are going for the single outlet exhaust conversion.

U just need to adjust the beam height, that happens when u move things around in the housing.

It happend to me when I did the swappage.

Just use the adjustng screws located on the headlight housing.

OK you need to swap the brackets also. The bracket that comes with the JDM headlights is different than the stock 06 that whats make your beam pattern high

ok when you say brackets, what are you referring to? the part that holds the actual bulb? cause i swapped that today and it's still high. so i'm still lost lol. just for referrence this is what i swapped. i removed the headlight circle cover thingy and then i took off the 3 screws. the 2 parts that the screws hold down is what i swapped (the projector and the housing that has the actual bulb in it) what am i missing? any pics?

do you need to do the same for the 04-05 headlights?what if you adjusted the height and not the the projectors?i left my JDM headlights the way they were since i got them, but if theres a way to adjust the beams, then i might as well do that....sorry for the thread jack..
