Pics of JDM headlights lighting at night/photoshoot of the car

Took some pics of the front sidemarker with the PIAA LED blue/white and adjust the low beam headlights and pics of the beam during driving. Check out the front turn signal with the PIAA orange beam light, the housing is clear so the orange would not show in the housing.

Hey CGPTSX06,

What PIAA bulb are you using on your side reflector? And how did you adjust the projector, or did you swap it w/ the USDM projector?

car is looking better and better...I would definitely consider those JDM headlights if they were cheaper...i'm actually surprised that no one just sells those side markers separately.

They are PIAA blue/white LED 198. I swap the JDM projector out with the USDM projector and I didn't do much adjustment at all I just play with the auto adjustment and it work out pretty good and the beam is as crisp as the stock setup and I would say the I like the light output better than when it was stock.

I didn't have the HID fog it is just upgraded 5000K H11 bulb from Polarg a JDM lights manufacturer like Raybrig if you know who they are very well make bulb looks like HID but at a fraction of the cost and bright as hell.

Drove home late night after work last night and I saw a cop I was like Oh shit and thought for a monent I was going to get pull over for the blueish sidemarker. I suppose they are illegal but anyway it is all good and went my way.

I thought it doesn't matter the colour of the sidemarkers, just the turn signals?

nah, I think blue is a reserved color for emergency services(police, ambulence, etc) so you can get pulled over for them.

All lights coming from the front of the vehicle have to be white or amber, all lights coming from behind have to be red or amber

CGPTSX06 did you install the clear bra on your JDM headlights? If not I would recommend doing so since it will protect your investment. I have it installed on my 06 JDM headlights and it looks great.

I thought USDM projectors are manual adjustment, while the JDM/EDM ones are automatic adjustment? I have a hard time to adjust the vertical beam pattern on the driver side because there's a big black plastic thing attach to the adjustment knob.

I know what you are saying the white residue is due to you swapping the projectors when you unscrew the 3 philip screws. I got this when I first did the one side just a little so when I did the other side it is perfect so no residue leftover clean as a whistle. There is no cure unless you take the headlights apart that is the only way.

Don't bake em, they're too expensive. If you choose to bake, bake the oem ones.
