Picked up my ride on the weekend...

And she is a beauty! I admit I will miss my RSX-S, but the TSX is doing everything she can to help me get over it. Good-bye Silver Bullet...hello Blue Angel!

These are just the first pics as I picked up the car from the dealer. I hope to get more pics on the weekend when I have more time.

The first pics are of my precious RSX, which after 4 years, it was time to move on. I took my camera with me as I dropped off the RSX and picked up the TSX. I was one of the first people on Toronto streets to have the RSX Type S, I still remember the stares as I drove by.

Anyways, the TSX is non-navi, 6mt with a skirt pkg. I was in between deciding on getting the A-spec and doing it in sections. I decided because I wasnt crazy about the A-spec wheels, I was going to go it solo.

Sadly, despite the fact that I always take care of my cars, it will never be this clean again. Especially the engine, I stared long and hard so I can remember how it looks new. Especially after the winter, when you open up the hood and see the disaster that it leaves behind.

A cold-air intake is next.
And if anyone can recommend where I can get a sway bar or a good wheel dealer in the GTA, let me know.

Thanks!

Very, very nice! You're going to love the upgraded luxury of the TSX from the RSX-S.

Good choice of dealers, I've heard many good things about Acura 2000. Welcome to the club.

Thanks...

They are good guys there. I would recommend them. My last 3 cars have been through them despite each time going out and trying to see if there was a better deal/service out there. All around, pretty much one of the best dealers in the GTA IMHO.

Any ideas where I can get some upgrades? Talking to the guy at Acura 2000, he told me that Woodbine are the only guys locally that are Honda authorized to do stuff like flash and suspension mods. Is this true?

Woodbine Acura has a very good parts department and they're an authorized Comptech dealer. We also have a few vendors here that will ship to Canada. Try sending a PM to MrHeelToe or Excelerate if you're looking for a sway bar or an intake.

The reflash will have to wait because Hondata is still working out a few bugs with the 05's. In any case, the reflashes are all done at Hondata's HQ in California so all the dealers do is send you a UPS box and label for you to put your ECU in and send it off to Cali. Jkindle is our resident Hondata vendor and I think he sells for $595US but you should ask him.

I used to work there too but now I am in Meadowale office now... Well, actually, I save 1 hr/day on travel now since I go on 407 instead of Go train. I hope not going to get pull over by OPP one day on 407! my mininum speed on 407 is 150km/hr....

LOL! I guess with the Acura Cap in one of the pics, I can pass for a salesman!

Although I doubt a salesman would be as corny as me and actually WEAR the cap...
