You're last shot is the best. The 2nd to last shot is 2nd best. The last shot will definitely make titles.

nice pics dre... just 1 question.

i'm a professional photogrpher and current student (not sure how that works either... found a job before i even started photo school) anyway... what the hell do you do in photos 100???

last time i checked it was usually 35mm b&w ONLY

digital photos was like a 200 level class.

i love the composition though... we have very similar styles when it comes to shooting the tsx... i think your photoshop editing is probably much better than mine though. leanring on 35mm just makes me either not edit my digital shots much or edit them so much that it looks too over the top.

nice work though... you'll do fine in photos

Yes they really are quite nice pics. E volt is a good series but just make sure you take care of the lens. First shot is cool, but probably needs a bit more focus were on on MF or AF?

If I may make a suggestion. I think you have continuous mode on your camera. I am still an amateur too... but try taking these with continuous mode!

the first pic was actually blurred for effect...so its not because of auto or manual focus its the editing effect.

i still really like your 1st pic (after seeing my style i know you probably notice its kinda similar to that photo) the colors are nice and neutral and then those tail lights just pop.

the blur is a nice effect, did you do an edge blur?
photoshop?

i usually do a gaussian blur on photoshop for the whole photo at like 5-10pxls and then change the opacity on that layer for the softer effect but i think in this case the edge blur looks nice too

its also a nice way to soften up pix with a lot of noise from either fast film (+1600 iso) or from editing.

OLDER

WITH GAUSSIAN BLUR

who knows maybe im the only one who can tell the difference

Didn't mean to thread steal, but was trying to give him ideas on new photos! Gaussian blur is a nice effect gives it that "angely" look. You can download a noise filter for adobe and get rid of the noise around the license plate.

your photos arent bad. i'm trying to learn more about car photography too. i think i like the 3rd shot the best. the first one seems a little weird, like you used to much blurring with photoshop.
