Phase 7 - teaser

Here's a photo of just one component that will be part of Phase 7:



This will be another first (and most likely last) for the TSX community...but I enjoy being a guinea pig .

Car will be dropped off with Josh/Jamie @ Excelerate Performance. Hoping for a 2-3 week turnout and substantial gains .

Nice! I know what that is!!

Keep us posted man! You should be able to run a lot more ignition without detonation with that. Are you taking out the Methanol setup or keeping both?

Comparison dynos would be awesome!

Hmmmmm it looks like it has both feed and return fittings on both top and bottom. It seems like it will be sandwiched between two things....hmmmmmm

Yep, you guys got it. From what it sounds like, this will be a one-off unit as well since the fabricator doesn't want to make them anymore ...

I'm definitely keeping the water/meth setup in place. Since I might also run more boost (still undecided), I'll need all the cooling and octane boost I can get.

As for comparison dynos, I wasn't able to jump on the dyno before dropping the car off today. Truthfully, this thing hasn't been dyno tested before so there is a possibility that I might see minimal gains at best. But along with a few other custom parts I'm having made, I have an idea of where I want to be .

^^ I think you'll see some nice gains. How did you plan on increasing boost? Don't you already have the 3" pulley? Are you going to get the snout machined so that a smaller pulley will fit?

DAYTA, WHERE'S THE LATEST POST?! i was lurking on the other forum and spotted some raw power and ingenuity! i still check back here from time to time, just waiting to catch a glimpse of the direction builds are going these days.

do i miss my tsx ... yes. well, i really only miss the seats LOL

the s is going back to stock and will be sold. i'm off to s/se asia to travel, backpack, camp, rock climb, and continue my interpersonal voyage in begining of 2011 =).
