I like your avatar, when I was growing up. Doramo was my favorite cartoon and comic book.

I used to have ALL the Doraemon comic books. My room used to look like a small library.

Scooters are a bad choice. You get all of the risks of a motorcycle (if not more) and NONE of the cool factor.

I don't belive the shareholders will ever allow Harley to make a scooter.

There are some powerful scooters out there, but almost every light motorcycle (500 to 800cc) will have better acceleration, brakes, and handling. These are the only defenses against the cage drivers.

Might as well trash their whole company's marketing department. I dont think that's a Harley at all, most likely Japanese.

I love Doramo too... when I was a kid...

It looked like a Vespa. The biggest advantage to a scooter is that in most cases you don't need a license unlike a motorcycle. You can park it real easy and quick just about anywhere. In southern climes suburban/city enviroments it's a good choice for running errands.

Standard fare for the Post Office and Dominos around here.

I've done some searching. This tiny scooter is a KYMCO from a Taiwanese company.
It is not cheap. $4000. It can go up to 85 MPH. 85 for a scooter!!! Wow!!!

The only thing that makes it a scooter is the placing of the feet - there are scooters with 600cc engines that would beat most cars. They are made for people who don't want to stradle a bike (convenient for women in skirts) or don't want to be bothered with shifting gears.

A 250cc motorcycle would probably be in the same range pricewise.

Probably not true! Scooters are significantly more expensive. For example, a Honda Rebel 250 lists for $3099, and the Reflex 250 scooter is $5,499.
