Nice Full Car Wash

hey guys spent about a few hours washing my car. i did a nice full hand wax and it turned out pretty good. i used the meguirs nxt wax. anyways after washing and waxing my car i found TWO ROCK chips on my car. Unbelieveable! I only had my car for a few months

not very happy with this acura paint. anyways i know my car needs to be lowered. still saving up for that since its quite $$$. plans are tanabe sustec pro 2, camber kit, alignment. all that will prob run me about $1000-$1300? including the installation. anyways let me know what you guys think. iam getting my baby tinted tomorrow. 35% all around!

and those of you who are "good" at photography please let me know how i can improve thanks

and of course here is a side by side picture comparing the acura tsx to a lexus ls430. the picture clearly shows the tsx is much better than the ls430

car looks good

just a thought......if your going to keep the factory chrome lugs with the black wheels get some chrome A emblems for the center caps

there about mid way down the page on the link below and they'll run you around $30 plus shipping:
http://www.handaccessories.com/tsx.html

check them out i think it would add a nice contrast to the black wheels

Car looks great man. I love white TSXs. And yea I discovered quite a few chips and dings when I washed mine. There were 2 on the hood too that weren't there when i bought it. I need to invest in a clear bra.

basically because there are 2 push pins on the back of the symbol that slide through the optional wheel caps along with some adhesive(check the install instructions to see what i'm talking about)

they install basically the same way the rear emblem of the car is installed, a simple dremil of the the push pins would probably alleviate that problem, but I can totally understand not wanting to waste $30 if it doesn't pan out.

maybe check with a local dealer to see if they have them in stock and if they do take them out to the car with the parts guy and see if the modification option is possible.

another option would be to hit up a local sign shop to get some chrome vinyl to fill in the factory symbol being that it's pretty much black vinyl from the factory in there to begin with

either way I just think it adds a little more contrast to the wheel and the symbols imo would look better than the vinyl, but as I said above it's a risk

it was a DIY i painted them myself. and yes many layers of clear coat. hence the shine off the wheels

have you thought about using a whiteout or some of white color paint to go over your logo "A" part? just an idea...

like suggested someone said chrome "A" logos. for some reason i can picture it in my head and i'm not really feeling it. but then again i would have to see it in real life or a picture. anyone have a picture of all black rims with "whiteouted" or "chromed A" logos on their tsx? hrmmm my wheels some uneven on some parts i think im going to redo some parts of it this week. since everyone here goes into so specific details saying i see some blotches and what not lol. anyways i just got 35% all around. went to the tint man in socal here on valley blvd. costed me $200!!!. other places i went to was also $200. they had another one for $150 but it blocked less heat and only had a 3 year manufacture warranty. the one i got was a lifetime warranty and blocked more heat. it was something titanium. hopefully it wasn't a bad choice. anyways once again i lag with the picture so i will post tomorrow

i used photoshop. for the signature i wrote it on a piece of paper and scanned it. opened up a 300x300 on photoshop and copied and pasted that signature onto it. i then used the text mode to type out whatever i needed. went to edit, define brush. entered the brush name i wanted. then to use it i clicked brush and selected airbrush. then on the right it says brushes. clicked that and clicked the first drop and selected my brush. then from there i used the brush. as for boxes im too lazy to explain since its longer o.O. just search it on google theres many tutorials that will help you out.

hopefully that helped you out. if not PM me or something
