I want to flare my fenders at some point, did you get the wave effect on both or just the driver side? And where does the wave come from, uneven pressure on the inside of the fender? Would it be easy to have a professional do it?

Since I rub with my 235s I've been looking into getting my front fenders rolled as well. I called two places today and they said they weren't equipped to/didn't know how. Although I figure if I rent the tool and take it there, they should be able to figure it out.

Either way that's something I would like to have a professional do.

If you bought it, I might have to rent it from you I would like to fully camber my car, but it will rub. My only option is to rollem if I wanna keep it that low. Looks real nice brutha man!

I have the waves on both sides. And the waves are on the vertical portion (well, used to be vertical) of the fenders....you know the wheel well arches. Hope you know what I mean. Yes, the waves happened due to uneven pressure when rolling the fenders. See, the problem is that the hub isn't dead center of the wheel well arch. So I had to roll/flare it in smaller sections, I may have applied different pressure at each section. I tried making them even, but I still have the waves. I'm sure the experienced professional body shops that do a lot of conversions can do a much better job, but be prepared that every single one of them will tell you that the paint will crack and they will have to repaint the fenders. I wanted to get away with repainting the fenders, that was why I was doing them the way I did. But I found out the hard way, and the fenders will be fixed next week by a professional.

BTW, this tool will work well if you're just rolling the fender lips because when the job is done, the lips will be inside so the waves don't matter much. They won't show on the outside.

I rented it.....at the place you posted in the other thread. Thanks for finding that site though.

nightvoyager, they're not mercury silver. According to Volk, they're called chrome silver.......basically just silver in my dictionary.
