New '06 PWP here
Hello everyone. I've been lurking for quite some time and this is my first post.
The purchase of the car has been about 2 years in the making. I was supposed to get one in december 2004 (2005 model) once the lease on my Pontiac Montana was over. I had test drove the car and loved the handling and styling. But Honda financing and my finances did not line up. I had to go with the then new Pontiac G6.
I did grow to hate that car. Did not suit my driving style at all. It did not help matters that I was at the dealer almost once every month for something or other.
Now this spring I was ready to change but the trade value of the G6 was/is awful (amerian cars in general, i guess). I would have had to give 10K$ for the trade! This past month, the amount dropped down to around 6K$. So I waited. Now these past two weeks I was looking hard to get out of the other car. Since the new model year for the Pontiac arrived, now the trade went up to 8.5K$. Arggh!
Then the dealer called and said he had something for me. I went to see and he had what I was looking for. A PWP, black interior, 6MT with navi. Since the car was on display at the Montreal F1 Grand Prix (locked doors) and was driven from the dealer to the site and back, it's was considered a demo. It had 251km on it.
I was able to make the trade from my Pontiac G6 GT 2005 45000km to this new TSX for around 3000$ trade! I said, where do I sign!
So here are some quick pics when I took delivery this past friday.

Don't flame, the dealer decals will be coming off!![Smile](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I already put about 450km on it. Man this car is fun!

Correct, that's an Acura EL. It's been replaced by the CSX (also Canada only) which is the Acura version of the new Civic. I'm from Bromont, Quebec, Canada which is about 60km south of Montreal.
Forgot to ask before. I had put Yokohamas Avid V4S 225/50-17 on the G6. I wanted to put them on the new TSX but the dealer is preaching that the stock Michelins are way better and I would be a fool to do that.
I still have access to make this change. I know it made a huge difference from the stock POS Continentals that came on the G6. Do you guys think that I should put the Yokohamas on the TSX. They have about 8000km on them.

Look up ratings for the stock tire on discounttire.com and the like. You will quickly find that the stock tires are absolutely horrible. Their snow rating is something like 3.6 out of 10, third lowest in its class. I have an '06 and I plan on switching the tires out in the next month, before the snow season hits.

Thanks everyone. I know this is the best color combo for the TSX!
Yesterday on the highway, twice I tried to pass someone that was slow and they sped up to keep beside me. Then they slowed down so I could pass them. I went back into the left lane and they sped up again in the right lane. I'm sure they wanted a 360 view of the car! Also I enjoy looking at people 'rubbernecking' to look at the car.
I think the first mod will be tint. Probably 20% back windows and 35% on the sides. Close second or maybe first will be resonator removal and a K&N filter.
Jen, yes the front dealer sticker will be coming off.
Ishakir, thanks fot the answer but I was wondering more for spring/summer/fall. For this winter I'll put on winter/snow tires. I think I'll do it anyway, the stock tires seem much firmer that the Yokos. It seems I feel the potholes more with the Michelins.
