My new 2004 TSX A-Spec

Just got it a couple weeks ago. No aftermarket plans for it at the time. It's got around 33k on it.

Very nice. Those wheels look super pimp. MR + Parchment interior FTW!

Was it that clean when you bought it or did attack it with a toothbrush?

It was pretty clean but let's just say I've got quite a few hours into detailing it. To be honest I haven't really touched the interior or the engine bay, so all of that is their doing. The only thing I've done is detail the crap out of the outside and throw on some cheap autozone clear floor mats so i dont stain the nice floor mats that came iwth it. I still have to shampoo the carpet in the interior so I don't want to make that job any harder than it has to be. As of right now I'm really looking into the reflash, it's got me thinking....

Is it smelly or something? I think if you try to make the interior any cleaner you might cause some sort tear in the space time continuum. You should be careful with that.

BTW, I've found you can use those Swifter cloth things to easily manage the light colored carpet fuzz that ends up being really visible on the dash. I keep a couple in my center console and wipe down the dash when I notice it getting dusty. I like my car clean too, though I doubt I could it to where you've got yours without re-upholstering the damn thing. Damn filthy previous owners.

Wow, this thread made me realize I put my A-Spec badge on the wrong side of my trunk (even though the instructions that came with the suspension show the left corner on the diagram - go figure).

Lovely TSX!

Smelly?... no.
Am I very anal about keeping this car clean?... yes.

Yeah I think I'm going to have to go pick one of those up. I didn't realize the dust until I saw that one picture. Thanks!

No they were not on, the lighting was really funny that day so some pictures look kinda funny. Some came out all dark and some were too bright, it was quite wierd.

Very nice car, I love the look of the TSX with the OEM kit. I really really want those rims for my TL (same size)

I didn't know the 04's had bluetooth as an option. I thought it was only on the 06+. My fathers 05 doesn't have it, nor was he asked about it for an option.

Anyone know where the A-spec badge on the back came from? I've never seen that before

definitely clean...

no aftermarket plans??

well...since you have the A-SPEC suspension, you probably won't even consider suspension..but a drop will only make your car look better!

and of course...get some nice tires!! sell the OEMs to someone else!
one thing I heard from a professional mechanic friend (master of Mercedez Benz, Master of Ferrari, owns a 800 hp supra single turbo) is that whenever you buy a used car, get rid of the tires, because you never know what abuse it's taken by the previous owner, and sometimes the sidewalls may be damaged,

anyway..it's a good reason to upgrade to some performance tires! OEM sucks!!

nice car!

God bless

Kevin

I'm not quite sure what's it called but those buttons are for a voice command. I press the button and say and command and it does it, pretty cool if you ask me.

Yes these tires are outta here. I personally hate Michelin tires from my prior cars. Probably sometime after the holiday's I'll slap on some aggresive tires, this car will not be a daily driver so I can go with an aggresive tire setup. As for the aftermarket mods, I'm starting to get the bug. I was really wanting to not mod it seeing that I spent well over 5 grand on aftermarket stuff for my last project and I wasn't wanting to get in trouble with this one as well. But I am looking into the reflash, powder coating my valve cover and a optima 51r yellow top to upgrade from this shitty OEM battery.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Nice color, I think what really makes a difference is a trunk spoiler, adds a bit more aggressive look. Congrats!
