Smile My brand new NBP TSX

Finally got my TSX after waiting 4 weeks (and after my first car was on a train that derailed!)

The dealer had to get one from another dealership 45 miles away---that dealership had the splashguards and moonroof visor already on there. I intend to remove both, although the splashguards don't stand out on the NBP as they do on other color TSXs.

You have to have the pics hosted somewhere and then link to the hosted pics. You can't upload any pics directly to the forum.

Thnx, I will post better pics once I've done a mod or 2. Can't do too much right away as this car is shared with my wife!

Thnx to Sturm for letting me know about the posting

Awesome tsx...what part of Va do you live in?

I only use my moonroof visor when I go on trips. I've found that I can leave the roof open at higher speeds with a lot less wind noise.

SSM, I liked your gallery of tint pictures. I intend to tint my windows this summer.

I live in Herndon and bought my car at Pohanka. (by the way, I grew up in Stafford)

How hard was it to remove the visor? I saw screws on top but then some bolts that needed a small wrench underneath the visor.

All you need is a phillips head and some needle nose pliers. You have to hold the bolt with the pliers while you remove the screw.

Nice pics. I still don't know why Acura didn't give us Canadians the NBP/ebony colour option

I guess it's the same reason why we got the PWP/ebony, which I'm thankful for.

I like the sunroof visor. I am starting to drive at night more with the moonroof open. How much of a difference does it make? Is it worth the $$$?

The sunroof visor to me is an eye-sore. It is much bulkier in person than in the photo. I agree with the earlier comment that you could use it for long trips--I have noticed that it cuts down on wind noise when the sunroof is open. I am going to take the visor off today and will post pics soon. Then you can compare the photos and decide for yourself. :P

Hey NBP 04 in NOVA,

I was searching for prices on the same black/black non-navi that you have in the Northern VA area. Can you please email me or post here and tell me where/dealer you got it from. Also, who was your sales rep? I am looking to buy in next two weeks.

Thanks
BoYLoGiK (Charlie)

$25,750 for a black/black non-navi

Call Bobby at Karen Radley 703-497-0900 and ask him if they'll do that price. Tell him Jeremiah sent you and he'll hook you up. Plus, they don't BS anybody. Gotta love honesty
