My 06 NBP w/ tint & Ford GT pics!!!

I went back home to Key West this past weekend and one of my cousins neighbors got a red Ford GT. The engine is tuned a little with 650 hp and 600 lb ft of torque. The car is a beast. I got to go for a ride in it, but didn't drive it . We pulled out on to a highway and went to 60 in about 3.5 seconds. It has to be the fastest thing Ive ever ridden in. I took a few pics.

I also got my windows tinted about two weeks ago. I got 15% all around. Let me know what you think.

Nice Tint.

So does the GT owner get phone calls that his own car just got stolen?

Must make the TSX seem super slow after riding in that thing. I would hate to get in my car after riding in a super car.

Yea, it did suck driving my car after that. I almost got a 350Z instead of another TSX, but the insurance prices for someone my age are ridiculous. When I turn 25 Im going to get the most power I can afford with reliability of course. The new TL TypeS sounds good too.

It's from Jeremy Clarkson's review of his Ford GT. His kept getting shut down remotely by the security company because they thought it was stolen, when in fact he was the one behind the wheel. They even called his cell when he was driving one time but they didn't believe him, so they shut it down anyway. lol

To this date, he hasn't made a full round trip from his house to the studio and back again without it breaking down or having it shut down. He had Ford buy back his first GT and he's on his second now without much more success.

Nice GT... Never seen one of those in real life over here. I do have a friend with a Viper (talking about American Muscle). Also very nice and fast, but I must say I didn't really get a speed rush from it. You can't really sense how fast you're actually going in it (which is normal for a supercar I guess).

Love the black TSX with tint Almost got that color twice :-) First time ended up with CG and now with the DM pearl...

The seats in the GT are weird and wouldn't be good for long trips. The car is so low I had to slouch in the seat to close the door.

Who the hell drives supercars on long trips??

You would need to hit every gas station along the way. The trunk space is good for what? a couple pairs of underwears and a toothbrush?

It's good for those "I got kicked out of the house by my wife" moments.

Actually, the guy who owns it drives it from Pennsylvania to Key West and back once a year. It has over 9,000 miles on it already and he will be taking it on the Canon Ball Run. He did the same with the 05 Viper he owned before this.

As far as trunk space there is a small 2x3/4 foot compartment in the front. it will hold one days worth of clothes and a toothbrush. But thats about it.

I agree- if i ahd the money a ford wouldnt be on the list.

Gotta love that Top Gear show though, its an absolute MUST for any petrol heads out there or even if youre just into watching 3 guys with a sense of humour and a big production budget to do wild tests by blowing up cars and driving into swimming pools for kicks.

The tsx looks sick in black but after both me and my wife owning black cars i dont think i could do it again.

silver is fine for me but man i woulda loved the CG. It shows off the chrome accents so much nicer than the silver does.

I had a hard time deciding between the silver and the black, but I liked how the chrome accents looked on the black. I am kind of regreting it because I can't keep the black clean for more than a day or two. Liked CG too, but dealership didn't have any in stock.

well dude, everyone knows whne the car is clean black is the baddest and slickest on any car. And its those times when u really wanna show off to ppl when ur gonna make sure its clean anyways.

BUT... i just picked up my 04 silver TSX today and DAMN if i dont love it like a fat kid loves cake! Just love the black tint on silver. The important thing, i think, is to get a nice colour that you havnt had on a car before so when u get your true dream car you'll know what wokrs for ya.

I like silver too. My first car was silver. I almost bought a silver 2006 350Z, but the insurance for a 21 year old was ridiculous. I'll try to keep mine clean, and good luck with your TSX.

I was trying to find out what DM pearl was and I looked on the Honda Netherlands website. It looks good too . I bet it is hard to keep clean like the black. I also like the different wheel choices and engine choises.
