i thought aobut it but have decided to get the maxim works header with the cl7 jdm metal catylitic convertor (i think that'll offer better power gains)- should be on late next month. Before then my new lower arm bar typeII, exedy clutch and jdm 4.7kg flywheel and euroR grille will be installed

Nice stuff. I thought you were going the all Mugen route too! How come you are getting the Euro R grille, isn't your car a HOnda already?

I decided to give the mugen headers a miss, the maxim works headers are just damn sexy, and i've heard a lot of good things about them power-wise, even with the jdm metal cat they should work out slightly cheaper then the mugen too which is a bonus.

Yep my car is a honda already... but i really hate the chrome at the front of the car. Getting the euro-R grille to hopefulyl make the front look a bit more agressive/unique. chrome jdm

yea i'd love to get the full kit, but i wouldn't be able to afford it in my mod plan.

in the space of two months :

euro R grill
flywheel
clutch
cusco typeII lower arm brace
mugen exhaust
maxim works header
jdm cat
gruppe m intake

i've well and truley got the modding bug

i guess i'll just stick with the oem kit and get used to it's non jdm blandness haha

Benz_05_TSX, i'll see if i can find a picture showing my grill

haha thats a very nice list man

you might be going down the all show path but you definitely got good taste when it comes to the power mods. cusco lower arm bar, toda header, jdm cat, tein flex coilovers, greddy evo 2. You could have skipped the lower arm bar, got some cheap but good looking headers, cut your springs and just welded on some mufflers haha. So props right back to ya for going show but still doing it all properly!

Yea somtime in the new year we definitely should. haha your in sydney tho hey... how far would we each have to drive to meet half way? Coz if there's an awesome photoshoot location halfway we're set

but this wont be for another year or so....until i get the things done properly
and yeah, euro is a classy car. my motto is "quality speaks for itself". no point in takin shortcuts if its gonna cost u more the 2nd time around replaceing parts
might as well do it right first go

sounds like a plan - we should enter the brizzy autosalon together put our cars side be side and get some mock license plates made up "show" and "go" lol

i totally agree with what your saying about modding. If you bite the bullet and do it right the first time you'll probably end up saving money because the mod is for the long term

Benz_05_TSX, Stephen got it right haha... i really prefer the euroR kit but OEM still looks more than good enough and it means i can do my perofmance mods quicker without having to worry about the cosmetic stuff anymore. The euroR grill is my last cosmetic mod... after that my car will never change how it looks just how it goes

looking foward to the gruppe m intake, dont know of anyone on the boards that has it yet.

that's the only picture i've ever seen too... and i've looked high and low. I should have it late January or maybe early Febuary and i'll be sure to take pics of everything included in the kit and some detailed shots of it installed.

The two graphite euro's are gonna look so sweet together when they are both fully finished - can't wait

I know, that's what i am thinking too!! If you really wanna track the car, should just saty as stock as possible (exterior wise) to save some weight. But the Mugen kit DO say it's wind tunnel tested and it's aerodynamics

yea i may sell my oem kit. But in the overal scheme of things the weight should be insignificant.

i'm getting the lightweight flywheel this week... has anyone else had this fitted and tested it out?

You are really going for performance eh?? That you should stick to the OEM kit, dropped very low, would look awesome too!! should get some nice 17" TE37 for track and some nice 19s for show!

yep performance all the way. My goal is to get an All motor 200hp to the wheels when i'm done with the power mods. But yea the oem kit is growing in me, and i'm keen to see how it looks with the euro-R grill.

I think i'll just stick with my wheels for a while longer. But 19" for show? No thanks i have a hard time looking at 18's on a euro/Tsx let alone 19" - nimble 4 cyl cars were made for 17's nothing more haha

in a year or two i'm hoping to get some SSR Type C's instead. They weigh 13 pounds at 17x7.5, lighter then TE37's look just as good and are cheaper.

Nice work man a few corrections tho...

Our cars don't weigh that much! haha a standard 6mt euro has a kerb weight of 1360kg (ie my car). I think the heaviest euro you can buy is only 1430kg too. And with weight reduction my goal is 1300kg flat

Also i have 17" lightweight wheels not 18" and when i change them eventually they'll be 17's again but forged wheels in the 5kg's each.

haha you also left out my euroR grill, lightweight flywheel, and sports organic exedy clutch.

but already you can tell the two cars are gona look hot next to each other
