Lot of pics of blackout chrometrim/door handles and some stuff added to the engine.

Blacking out the chrome trim and door handles and loving the blackout look. Well the Cusco hose collapse so I decided to get the earl's blue super stock hoses and earl's fitting to replace the Cusco hoses for the blue theme look. I also added the Vision CF spark plug cover and black JDM dipstick.

Looks Good

Ive seen the blackedout handles on another CGP and didn't like it, but it looks good on yours with your wheels and everything. I have the same done to my NBP and like it a lot better than all the chrome.

Hey ABPTSX,
Got any pics of your car with the black out tape. I'd like to see what it would look like on an ABP.

Thanks

OH, and to the original poster, your car looks great.

Took we a total of 4 hours to get the job done right. I took out the sideview mirrors apart and get the tape all tuck in for the clean look. I am definitely loving the new look and the tape has a nice texture to it. If you take your time and be patient the outcome is rewarding as it looks like it come like it from the factory and and excellent way to cover up the chrome rather than paying 400+ for the JDM trim.

not any right now but i will soon. i only did one side just for a comparison. i just had a tough time with bubbles and cutting it to fit. i used a razor blade but it wasnt consistent. i'll try it over again soon since i liked how it looked a lot

The tape is a little more than an inch wide and I use two piece but I overlap it and it is much cleaner than joining them together.
