I had issues with the 4LEDs man. they do touch the plastic cover and were a pain in the ass to snap back into place. Don't know how the 9's fit is..

I had no issues with the 6LED lights..........but the 9's do look brighter. Side by side comparison would be nice.

The thing I noticed about the LED lights is that they shine straight down, like a flash light. It's doesn't spread out like the OEM bulbs.

It seems as though the LEDs do touch the plastic cover which maybe prevents light from reflecting back into the socket and onto the plate.

I also got mines from Brian at tec_toys....I highly recommend him. I thought I had a problem with a few of them going out at times and emailed brian. He emailed me back the very next day and told me to send the old ones back to him for new replacements.

After double checking, the old ones were loose, so i reseated them and all is fine now.

My 6LED bulbs don't touch the plastic lens at all. About a 1/4 inch clearance. Got mine from superbrightleds.

Very nice....I also have the 9LED license plate and they weren't that hard to put in once you know how to get to the bulbs. They look alot nicer than the OEM ones and for $12 or so, this is a must have.

I could measure mine (from superbrightleds) but can't say about the techtoyz's size.

I just ordered the whole interior package from tectoyz, but got a response from Brian saying he no longer is using the 9LED bulbs for the license plates due to seeing to many problems with customers and having them return the bulbs due to light failure. (Im guessing that's due to having the license plate light on for a long period of time) rest assured many people say LED's don't last that long to begin with.

I have ordered the full package and said he has a brand new 1 Watt Single
LED bulb that has just recently been released and hasn't seen any problems as of yet and mentioned they output quite a bit of light like the 9LED bulbs
even though they are only single (1) LEDs. Do any of you have this? If so post pics, as I really hope they are bright enough as he said they are.

While many people have posted problems with their license plate bulbs, I have 9-led bulbs from Brian and they work great. They are very bright and look real nice. I dont understand why the leds are having a problem at all. LED or Light Emitting Diodes are very good lights and are rated much higher than a halogen bulb as far longevity (approximately 100,000 hours). Also, LED's use a much lower power draw. Sorry to hear the problems which I can't understand, but I do reccomend changing the domes, doors, map light, and license plate light's bulbs.

i ordered from him thinking it would be a good idea....i never got my lights

i emailed him a few times and he finally responded after a few days to give it another day and then if doesnt come he would send another.

i emailed him again and had to wait a few days for another response...

he finally said ok it's been processed with tomorrow's shipment so it will be shipped out the next morning....(i got the message on a thursdays so it should've been sent out friday morning right?) WRONG

he has yet to reply to any of my emails after that about the status, or anything!!

that was supposed to be march 2nd that it shouldve been shipped out. it's the 13th and still nothing.

i paid for the lights on feb 9th!!!!

cross your fingers when you order

i know the guy isnt responding on purpose because i see feedback comments from today!!! which means he's selling still

i'm about to ruin his 100% record...which i thought would've been enough to finally get it into his thick head to send them but NOPE
