JDM Window Trim Installed

JDM Window Trim Installed
First, let me say out of all the installs I have done, this was easily the hardest! Half because I was nervous as shit (if I fucked it up not only did I not have the OEM trim, but it was going to cost me another $600) The other half because the Helm's instructions suck when it comes to the replacement, or at least I couldn't use them.
Anyway, here are the pics. Sorry it was dark out by the time I finished so they suck. I'll get up some better ones later.

I plan to get rid of all the chrome as well, i hate the chrome, but, if i am gettig wheels with a lip, i think chrome will match better...so, i am still deciding! but the trims look awesome!

The reason its so expensive I find out now is because you have to buy the weather stripping as well, and that's a pretty large piece. So when you are taking off the old weather stripping you have to just kind of rip it off and it makes some scary sounds.
All in all I was just nervous I was gonna fuck it up and not be able to have ANY trim for a while.

So if you stick the new trim on the wrong place and have to tear it off you are gonna be out $600. So I didn't even use the double sided tape except for like 2 inches in the front. I was too scared it was gonna get messed up.

Lol, hey sorry about the lack of pics. When I said "this weekend" I didn't realized it was Christmas and I would be out of town. Hopefully I'll get some up in the next day or two.

Awww damn... ok I'll get some this weekend, I promise. I'm embarassed to take pics of the car right now its so dirty. But I'm getting a townhouse with a garage and not driving to work anymore so I should* be able to keep it pretty damn clean

Would you say you are happy with this kit? I'm seriously considering buying it. Is there a high probability I'm going to screw it up? I considered just using the blackout tape, but I can't imagine that looking too good.
I've also seen some posts where people have painted the trim. Is it really expensive to have that done at a body shop?
