JDM K20A-R Valve cover/Spark Plug Cover installed

just installed the JDM K20A-R Valve coverand JDM K20A-R Spark Plug Cover
they look pretty nice with the red K&N CAI ...
and it's made of ceramic ..... so it probably work better with the heat ...






still missing the foggies :'(

looks sweet with the K&N intake as well, very nice!!! love the Euro R kit too

I think the whole setup for the engine cover is liek 180ish

yeah ... it totally fit .. ~~ it's only a block or some kind of hood ...so probably K series have all the same design of the upper part of the engine
but it looks very neat compare to stock ... stock is like some kind of cheap metal .. :fingerfawk:

yes this is wut i'm talkin abt .. ~~
and u can see that it has two extra screw pointing outward ...
that's the extra part whcih stock doesn't have then i have to buy 2 more caps for them

it's the silver part that covers the valve cover
it looks like this


it comes with 2 colors ... silver for Type-R and some kind of carbon grey for Type-iS
i chose the silver which fits our lower part of the cover

So the valve cover is entirely ceramic + metal ?
and the spark plug cover is metal ?

How long it took you to install them ?

yes the valve cover is ceramis + metal and the spark plug cover is some kind of plastic or the same material as the one has i-VTEC on ....
it only took me abt 30 mins or so to install it ... only took out some screws but it's kind of hard to take out the stock cover with only 1 person ... have to find someone to help to hold the tube which gose beyond the cover and try to push it inward .. and same thing for the installin the K20A-R cover

no ...... i dont really see any useage on gaskets ... i would spend that moeny on sth else
cant really see any differences with that

hey andy when u purchased the euro r kit for the tsx did the holes for the fog lights come with a cover to make it look diff than usdm or how does it work?? did u have to change the whole front bumper?? let me know i really like the look thanks

u dont have to change the bumper but the lip doesn't come with a cover ...
u have to purchase JDM foglight covers for the JDM foglights ..

or just looks ?
Is it heavier or lighter than stock ?

i think it's no diff .. ~~ i'm not sure didnt really weight it but i cant feel any diff on takin them out
