Man I just can't get used to the gold wheels at all especially on the black car.
More importantly I cant get over how small those rims look on the car and what profile are the tyres? They look so chunky. They don't look like 45 profiles or less.
The bottom line is ............. it's your car and you love it so good on you and good luck with it!

It looks pretty good IMO. I guess I'm at looking at where you're going with it more than what it currently is. Blacking out the trim on the windows and around the grill will help a lot. Actually, with your black rear emblem, it might look pretty sweet to black out the whole front grill to match. The mugen grills have never done much for me. Too plain and disruptive to the lines on the front of the car.
The gold rims look pretty good to me. For practical reasons, I favor smaller wheels (better ride quality plus lack of worrying about destroying the wheels on potholes). Big wheels and low profile tires are all about looking fancy but I'd rather have my car optimized for my experience inside the car rather than other people's watching me go by.

Itll look totally different in another week.
One mod since the first post has been completed. Another will be completed this weekend. And the last one will be completed hopefully next weekend. I like the 17s, and dont think they look too small at all. The pictures make them look tiny.
Tires are 215/50...love to drive on em

Sure, if it's big enough. But you can't honestly believe that a 19 inch wheel with a 30 profile tire is as durable as a 17 inch wheel with a 45 profile, can you? I mean it's not like I'm just willy nilly plowing through potholes either way but the extra profile is a comfortable bit of protection.

Ok..I gotta admit..I thought I was gonna hate this but it's not too bad..once you get the other things done that you're looking to do..it will be pretty hot. Really like it with the yellow fogs and such..it will be a unique look for sure...
