I either do that or use the jack that came with the car to jack it high enough to put the hydraulic jack underneath.

yeah but if you use two boards then you can use the middle jack point and change two wheels at once.

and my friend (z3ro on the forum's TL)

no airbags for either of us. I think thats sort of cheating when it comes to posting pics of "how low you can go"

I never said mine was the lowest and yes I think that airbags are cheating cause most people dont that have airbags would never dream of drivng there car actually low so they got airbags instead.

how is it cheating? your thread says "how low can you go". it doesn't say limited to springs and coilovers only. no airbags allowed?? airbags isn't cheating. and yes when i do install them i do not plan on driving it that low. as i said before, i'm building a show car therefore the airrunners are a perfect setup for me. but hey to each their own

if you feel that airrunners are cheating then i won't post a pic in your thread. i respect your opinion and i'm not trying to get bigheaded or anything. like i said before, i was gonna get the flex's but my friend told me that the airruners were on special so i opted to buy those instead. it's a lot more convenient for me because of my decision to build a show car.

Heheh, the joy of driving a slammed car.

but then again ... there's angling the car due to a dip, speed bump, steep driveway/ramp... dodging potholes and bending a rim cause the car was too low to see ahead.. *sigh*

well if you pay attention on the site I show my car at around 10 events a year and I am also building a show car and have been, so your not the only person building a show car here.

all i have to say is air runner is not the same as canover or hydros...and they have a really smooth ride. they don't make stupid loud noise from dump value...plus damping is adjustable...
air runner is made in japan...lots of vip car used them.
i even saw a video where a mazda fc drift with air ride at the track....

some peeps from hawaii decide to do air runner is because they already reach to the point that coilover is not low enough...from using lower springs on the coilover and or removing the one of the spring perch.
just look at the pics from hawaii cruises on az....all of us ride low and still want to go lower.

to answer the question of this thread....YES YOU CAN GO WAY LOWER....is not low enough

sorry i guess that was the problem that started this all. it was just ment to be a title for a picture thread not a thread to see who had the lowest car which it turned into.

I know what airrunner is and I know it is used in VIP too. Yes I can go lower and parts are on order to help that and have been and no its not an air suspension.

i got to ten shows a year to meet sponsorship requirment and to hang out with my buddies in the club i am in. basically the NCCA judges shows all over the united states and shows they judge gain you points for winning cash prizes at the end of the year. the car that wins the best of each make for the entire year based on points earned get between 5-6k. you can check out more here www.4ncca.com

I am not trying to be a dick or anything just saying that I show my car also cause you were the one that said the whole thing about your car being a show car in the first place. I was just saying I show my car and drive it hard both. Not trying to start anything here.

yeah i understand what you mean not being able to drive to different states.

yeah keep up the good work on yours too. definitly want to see the pics of your suspension and what the control module for there airride is like. I hope its not the getto setup that people put in trunks where you have to have this big box as I have seen some nice electronic control modules in classic hot rods and such.

that's why sometimes i wish i were on the mainland!! more access to events!! shipping wouldn't be a bitch either!! i'll get those pics up on saturday when i go to my friends shop to pick up the airrunners! the setup i'm gonna be running isn't ghetto i hope. i'm gonna have the tank mounted to the top of the trunk liner and run the switches in the compartment below the stereo. it has 2 pressure gauges and 4 switches. i'll see if i can find some pics of my friends setup cause i will be running the same thing.
