as far as mods i didnt get anything...they paid for all my graphics and entry for the show. Also paid for the detail of the car. Oh and i am getting a federal medal for the show as well. At the show there was over 200 photos taken of my car with people interested in the National Guard and they over 90 something new hot leads of people interested in joining up. At the San Jose show I believe they only got 12. So yea it was fun got me and my people all in free and one of the army chics is hot hahaha i gotta find a pix with her somewhere.

that and the other shows i was in and the shops that helped get the car together. I got all my stuff at cost or less than cost and labor was free so i had to rep them so yea u cant see the stickers in the pix we kinda covered them with flyers hahaha. And if u think they give out medals for anything think again...it took 3 weeks to get ready for the show, i didnt just put my car in. I helped promote the show and the booth before hand. So it all counted as volunteer time. And me being active duty navy promoting the Army National Guard is whats getting me the Army medal. But its a federal medal so i can wear it in my Navy uniform. =)

Dog don't even sweat that fools comment, he don't know what the military is all about. On top of that he may be one of those spoiled ass middle eastern kids from WA.

Try again asswipe. I busted my ass for 8 years in the Marine Corps + reserve time after leaving active duty. I was honorably discharged and would go back in a second if not for medical disability from that discharge.
My grandfather was in WW2, Dad was in the first Gulf War and my service. What have you done.
I have friends that died in Iraq along with friends that have been disabled by some damn IED. Don't try and tell me I don't know about
I have medals from my service. What do you have?

Yes you rubbed me the wrong way

To the OP. What medal are you receiving?

Yes I miss the Corps. Mostly because of the comraderie within any given unit you're assigned to. You just don't find that out in Corporate America. I guess if you don't have to rely on your co-workers to someday save your life in combat, it's just not the same.
If I had to do it over again, I would have stayed in. Money in a high tech field is just not worth it in my mind.

It's different for everyone. Navy and Marine Corps life can be pretty opposite depending on your MOS.
When I got out, I went to work for Intel for a couple of years, then moved on to Microsoft. Stayed at Microsoft for a couple of years, then came over to Holland America and am the Network Lead for them now.

Oh Well, I did my time as well in the Air Force. You can rub on this and you don't need to give me your life story on your time in the Corp. I can give a shit! I've had friends that fought on the Fronline in Iraq as well.

Looks really good. Hopefully I'll make it to a show down there or you make it up to LA one day and we can chat a bit. I have lots of friends in SD (going there this weekend actually).

NICE bumper!
