Hi...new guy here (PIC)

Hi there…

I’m not really a that new here….I’ve been lurking for over half a year now when I first got the car. It’s a 2005 PWP 5AT without Navi. I just installed the OEM kit last weekend as well as the fog lights.

This is a great site with lots of useful information and I learned a lot here. As for future mods….tints are definitely a must and I’m also thinking about suspension and wheels/tires.

My other ride is a SR20DE powered Sentra.

Let me guess. You're gonna get white rims for the TSX as well.

Looks nice, part of me always wished I got a PWP. I just couldn't let the NHB, 6MT with navi sitting in the showroom go.

Wow, thanks for all the compliments!

As for the kit install, it was very straight forward. I had a friend helping me and it took about 4 hours total. Yeah, I know, some of you brag about getting it all done in one hour, but I guess me and my buddy aren't as "handy"! Well, we took our time to do it right and didn't rush anything. The Acura instructions were quite accurate. The hardest part was the front. I had trouble getting some of the bolt clips in place, but as soon as I took the front bumper off, it was easy getting the front skirt on. I'm sure you don't have to remove the front bumper to install the front skirt, but since I was working on the fogs, I took the bumper off. Anyways, the wiring to the fogs haven't been done yet. The lights are installed but not functional yet. I guess I will tackle that another day.

As for the fog light trim, I got them painted at a small local garage. It costed me $75CDN, but I think it's worth every penny, cause I hate to see a black trim around a white bumper.

And no, I will not get white wheels for the TSX. White wheels are PITA to keep clean. I'm thinking gunmetal coloured wheels.....to match the tints I'm gonna get.
